This roundtable will announce the addition of our newest Startup Community – StartUp Durham and will also discuss communities within the context of our national consultation series on Building a Creative and Entrepreneurial Canada. The findings from this consultation series will feed into two inter-related Government of Canada Consultations including the Entrepreneurial and Creative Society pillar in the Innovation Agenda, as well as the Minister of Canadian Heritage’s consultations on Canadian Content in a Digital World.

The Minister of Small Business and Tourism will deliver opening remarks and will join us for the announcement of the new communities and the panel. Marissa will be participating as a Startup Community Leader and StartUp Canada’s Women Entrepreneurship Ambassador.

Let’s give StartUp Canada and Marissa our collective support on her mission to make Canada the absolute best place to build and grow a business.
